The Fresh Market unveils enhanced shopping experience in Memphis and Germantown May 17

The communities of Memphis and Germantown will soon discover more of what they love at The Fresh Market. The specialty grocer is set to unveil a new store experience this month that stays true to its roots in offering the freshest ingredients in the neighborhood. Love of food is at the heart of The Fresh Market, as well as a commitment to inspiring guests with a curated offering of tasty, healthy, fresh fare and effortlessly delicious meal solutions every day. On Wednesday, May 17, The Fresh Market will unveil its new look and enhanced shopping experience at the following three stores: 

• 2145 Union Ave., Memphis, Tenn.
• 835 S. White Station Road, Memphis, Tenn.
• 9375 Poplar Ave., Germantown, Tenn. 

Guests will be greeted by inviting aromas from the bakery; a full service meat counter with the finest cuts of beef ground daily; premium seafood arriving fresh several times a week; and an impressive selection of farm-fresh produce. Foodies will discover a curated shopping experience offering the best of its kind in each aisle. Updated signage throughout the store will now clearly designate departments; guide those shopping with dietary restrictions or food allergies; highlight organic products; and inspire guests to explore new tastes.

Beginning May 17, the Memphis and Germantown communities are invited to shop fresh, eat fresh and explore new experiences at The Fresh Market:

Delicious, Fresh Food – Fresh has always remained top priority at The Fresh Market, with a bountiful selection of crisp, seasonal produce, and exceptional quality meat and seafood selectively sourced from the best providers across the globe. The Memphis and Germantown locations will provide an abundance of fresh produce items, hand-picked at their peak from local Tennessee farms such as Tanimura & Antle Farms, Americus Bean Company, Southern Valley, Lipmann, Tennessee Vegetable Packers and Akin Produce Company.

Meal Solutions – Dedicated, interactive sampling stations at the Union Avenue and White Station Road locations will now offer guests the chance to taste flavors from across the store, including the weekly dish from The Fresh Market’s signature Little Big Meal program and flavorful Meals in Minutes. On-the-go shoppers can also conveniently pick up satisfying salads and ready-to-eat Bistro Comfort Bowls available in the deli.

Grocery Essentials – Guests will find an expanded selection of grocery essentials including baby, household essentials and personal care products to supplement The Fresh Market’s premium, gourmet and specialty items.

Health & Wellness – Aisles will be specially labeled to guide those shopping with dietary restrictions or food allergies to a robust selection of health-conscious products across the store including thousands of organic items, certified gluten-free items and certified non-GMO items.

The Fresh Market invites the Memphis and Germantown communities to celebrate refreshing updates with in-store events at its three area locations on Wednesday, May 17 beginning at 8 a.m. with giveaways and in-store promotions. Festivities will continue through Sunday, May 21 with not-to-miss cooking demonstrations, in-store sampling, live entertainment, special deals and giveaways.

• Celebratory mini cupcake sampling from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Grilling demonstrations featuring The Fresh Market’s gourmet beef burgers and a variety of Italian sausages
