The Fresh Market unveils enhanced shopping experience at Columbia grand opening April 26

The Fresh Market guests will discover a refreshed look at the specialty grocer’s new Columbia store on Wednesday, April 26, as the company reveals an enhanced shopping experience that stays true to its roots in offering a curated selection of fresh, delicious food with friendly service – but re-imagines the neighborhood market as a weekly destination where guests can now find an increased selection of inspiring meal solutions, local products, health-conscious items – and now, everyday grocery classics alongside the specialty grocer’s quality, signature items. Signage throughout the store will clearly designate departments, guide those shopping with dietary restrictions or food allergies, highlight organic products and inspire shoppers to explore new tastes.

The specialty grocer is proud to support the communities it serves and will feature produce from South Carolina farmers including blueberries from Cossaw Farms in St. Helena Island. The Fresh Market is also committed to giving back at a local level in each community where the company does business. The new Columbia store will partner with and provide regular food donations to Harvest Hope Food Bank. 

On Wednesday, April 26 at 7:30 a.m., The Fresh Market invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of its second Columbia store, the company’s ninth store in the state of South Carolina and 179^th store.
