The Fresh Market to host Grand Reopening of Mobile store August 29

The Fresh Market, Inc. will celebrate the end of its recent store remodel with a Grand Reopening at its Mobile location at 3940 Airport Blvd. On Saturday, August 29, the neighborhood specialty grocer invites shoppers to enjoy in-store sampling, special deals and activities to celebrate the occasion as it unveils its remodeled layout, intended to create an easier, more convenient shopping experience for the Mobile community.   

Updates to the Mobile location include expanded offerings in the gift, floral, grocery, dairy, frozen, produce and wine departments. Shoppers can also enjoy a new hot pizza bar and a soup and salad bar, along with several new fresh grab-and-go items in the deli and bakery departments.

“We appreciate our customers’ patience during our remodel and look forward to introducing them to our new format and enhanced shopping experience,” said Randy Horsley, store manager of the Mobile location. “The new store layout will feature a larger produce selection, a hot pizza bar, more grab-and-go options and much more. These improvements are consistent with The Fresh Market’s goal of providing quality, great tasting food, excellent customer service and an inviting atmosphere.  We are excited to offer the Mobile community an inspiring food shopping experience.”

The Grand Reopening will kick off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, and the first 1,000 customers will receive a free reusable shopping bag. On Saturday and Sunday, shoppers can enjoy in-store chef demonstrations and sampling from local brands including Alabama Organics. On Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., shoppers can enjoy a special wine tasting from La Marca and Alamos. La Marca will sample its Prosseco and representatives will be in-store to personalize labels on La Marca Prosecco bottles. Alamos will sample its Chardonnay, Cabernet and Malbec wines. In addition, the store will feature Grand Reopening specials all week, beginning Wednesday, August 26.
