The Fresh Market Celebrates Grand Reopening of Memphis Location on June 3

The Fresh Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: TFM) will celebrate the conclusion of its recent store remodel with a Grand Reopening at its location on 835 S. White Station Road in Memphis. On Wednesday, June 3 the neighborhood specialty grocer welcomes area-shoppers to enjoy in-store samplings, special deals and activities to celebrate the occasion and will also unveil its remodeled layout, intended to create an easier, more convenient shopping experience for its Memphis customers.   

“We appreciate our customers’ patience during our remodel and look forward to introducing a new format which we believe will offer an enhanced shopping experience,” said Store Manager, John Cartwright. “The new store layout will feature an indoor dining area, expanded food and beverage selections, extended grocery aisles and much more. These improvements are consistent with The Fresh Market’s goal of providing quality, great tasting food, excellent customer service and an inviting atmosphere. We are excited to offer the Memphis community an inspiring food shopping experience!”

Other updates include an expanded refrigerated produce wall with items such as fresh juice, cut fruit and salad options. Shoppers can enjoy a new hot pizza station and a soup and salad bar, several new grab-and-go items in the deli and bakery departments, a variety of new local and regional beer offerings and an exclusive frozen section just for gluten-free items. Extensions to the grocery aisles will also allow for comfortable shopping space, easier navigation and a wide range of food and beverage options.

The grand reopening will kick off at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, and in-store activities will include chef demonstrations and local vendor sampling. The store will also feature outdoor grilling samples on Saturday and Sunday. Beginning Wednesday morning, the first 1,000 customers to check out at the registers will receive a free reusable shopping bag.
